Why is it important?
An understanding of the past helps us understand the present and has the potential of guiding our decisions in the present.
Perspectives
This model evolved over 15 years of trying to stress the importance of connecting past and current models of thought. A major frustration for me in teaching was the absence in general business texts of adequate historical connectors. I am a believer in the French saying that the more things change, the more they seem the same.
