What is it about?
Single crystals of the doxorubicin nitrate were grown and analyzed by X-ray diffraction. The molecular structure and spatial arrangement of atoms were then compared with doxorubicin bound to DNA and protein molecules.

Why is it important?
Conformational analysis is important in drug design -- they allow for deep understanding of how certain drugs work.
Perspectives
This was one of the most demanding papers I have written. This is also an example of why journal impact factors do not matter much and it is the contents that speak for the science.
