Why is it important?

The synthesis and structural characterization of multinuclear copper and manganese complexes have attracted considerable attention because of their various interesting structural, electronic and magnetic properties. In view of the importance of these complexes and in an effort to enlarge the library of such complexes, it is reported that the synthesis of two new oxygen-bridged Mn(III) and Cu(II) complexes along with their single crystal X-ray structure characterizations and temperature-dependent magnetic studies.

Perspectives

In this study, it is reported that synthesizing of new dioxygen-bridged Cu(II) and Mn(III) Schiff base complexes and investigating molecular structures by single crystal X ray diffraction method. The temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibilities have also been investigated for both complexes. Due to their different physical properties, the results which obtained by the production of new copper and manganese Schiff base complexes and investigation of their structural and magnetic properties in detail have been thought that would contribute the developping of today’s modern science and technology.
