What is it about?

LibraEDT is a software originally developped for Zeiss Libra 120, but easily adaptable to other instruments, to help facilitate electron diffraction data by following the crystal, making sure that the data is properly collected without losing valuable information. Finally, it helps with data management, making sure that all the data collected are properly and systematically stored in the disk.

Why is it important?

TEMs are highly complex instruments originally designed for imaging, which makes electron diffraction experiments challenging for non-expert users. LibraEDT, attemps to transform the TEM into a more user-friendly, diffraction-oriented instrument. By simplifying and guiding data acquisition, it allows even new users to properly collect high-quality 3D-ED data.
