What is it about?
Phase Response Curve (PRC) characterizes an intrinsic oscillatory property of a neuron while Spike-Timing-Dependant Plasticity (STDP) defines how neural connections are updated by the relative timings of spikes. The present study reveals how these two important characteristics of the neural system interact each other to result in a specific neural connection and a firing patter after learning.
