What is it about?

In inverse scattering theory breathers are solutions oscillating in time. Here the gravitational breather is examined and it is found that functions of the curvature scalars of the gravibreather solution oscillate in time, dampened by the seed solution.

Why is it important?

With tools already available "off the shelf" the behavior of the solution is extracted even very close to the cosmological singularity with accuracy and precision from early to late times.

Perspectives

Behaviour near the singularity investigated numerically with tools already available to users of computer algebra systems.
