What is it about?
We demonstrated that surface Andreev bound states (SABS) in the B phase of superfluid 3He is strongly influenced by the boundary condition of a wall. Boundary condition of a wall can be altered in situ by coating the wall with a few atomic layers of 4He. Here, we show that bandwidth of SABS in the surface density of states (SDOS) is broadened on a wall of the larger specularity.
