What is it about?
We analyze the particular behavior of anomalous Hall effect (AHE), viz., two very shap switchings observed for ~20 nm thick flakes of Fe3GeTe2 encapuslated with hBN. The measurements were carrid oout in verycarefully fabricated samples. The temperature depdence of the switchings in AHE are found to be related to a weak kink observed in the M-T data. Correlations of these two observations suggest an existence of coexistence of ferro and antiferromagnetic interactions between Fe ions of diferent oxidation states. The coexistence of the two interactions was suggested in literature, however, we show for the first time that such interactions are intrinsic intralayer interations in Fe3GeTe2 system.

Perspectives
As the van der Waals magnets offer possibilities of studying novel properties in heterostructures, Moire-patterns formed with cleanest possible interfaces, it is important that the intrinsic behavior of individual magnets is thoroughly understood. This work shows that analysis of both bulk magnetization and magnetotransport behavior analyzed together may provide important clues for solving many puzzles observed in the general behavior of such magnets.
