What is it about?
From a career spent nurturing trainees an students, I've found that work that is challenging and satisfying is far less likely to "burn out"the learner than mundane, rote, time-consuming tasks.

Why is it important?
Concern with "burnout" is appropriate, but we musn't forget that learning medicine can involve satisfying activities, particularly if autonomous.
