What is it about?
Experimentally Induced Arterial Embolism by Hyaluronic Acid Injection: Clinicopathological Observations and Treatment Vascular complication is a serious complication of facial hyaluronic acid filler injection. The optimal treatment for this complication remains unclear. In this animal study, we explored the efficacy of hyaluronidase and urokinase combination treatment for the arterial embolism at various time points. We found that this treatment is only effective within 24 hours.
