What is it about?

Lower eyelid retraction is when an eyelid is pulled out of position downward. This can lead to the eye chronically being irritated because it is not covered properly. This paper discusses one surgical technique to fix lower eyelid retraction. What is unique about this technique is that a very small cut in the skin can be used to insert an implant into the lower lid and improve the position.
