What is it about?
Taking intraoperative photographs takes time and may introduce potential contamination. We use a waterproof camera immersed in iodine to allow surgeons to take pictures as they operate. We show that this approach does not increase serious infection rates or contamination but does increase the number of photos taken during surgery.
