What is it about?
Body contouring with liposuction and fat transfer to the buttocks known as the Brazilian Butt Lift has increased significantly in popularity and the number of operations. However, safety concerns have emerged where there has been a relatively high number of mortalities as well. We present our experience with the procedure performed under local anesthesia in the awake patient where 38 patients underwent 49 operations with no complications and fast return to their normal daily activities.
