Efficacy of Laser Resurfacing and Facial Plastic Surgery Using Age, Glogau, and Fitzpatrick Rating

What is it about?

Laser rejuvenation is a rising treatment modality for facial rhytids. There is limited evidence to support the appropriateness and efficacy of using lasers in simultaneous combination with facial plastic surgery. _x000D_ The authors treated 48 patients who were selected on the basis that they had either laser treatment alone or laser plus facial plastic surgery and pre- and post-operative photographs. _x000D_ Facial plastic surgeries were performed prior to or concurrently with laser on all patients . Patients receiving laser only were treated in-office. _x000D_ A comparison of estimated age and aging scales revealed improvement in patients undergoing treatment. _x000D_
