What is it about?

An increasing number of transgender patients are seeking gender affirmation surgery and may use online resources to gather information. We examined current trends in the public’s interest in gender affirmation surgeries through Google Trends (GT) analysis. Our data trends indicate that GT may be useful to measure public awareness and interest in pursuing transgender surgery.
