What is it about?

Transgender men often opt for masculinizing chest surgery. Little is know of how they experience the outcomes of surgery, and what factors are associated with their experiences. This study found that chest dissatisfaction before surgery was mostly related to gender dysphoria rather than their breast size. Also, it was found that chest surgery effectively improved both chest and body satisfaction. People who showed less positive experienced outcomes were more frequently planning correction surgery or experienced depressive symptoms.
