What is it about?
Closed reduction and percutaneous pinning (CRPP) of hand fractures is a deceptively difficulty procedure which is difficult to teach and one which residents often struggle with. We successfully created an anatomically correct and realistic simulator for CRPP of hand fractures which is low-cost and easily reproducible. Initial feedback is encouraging in regards to realism, educational utility, and overall usefulness.
