As shown in this study, circZC3H4 RNA/ZC3H4 mediates macrophage activation. This study reveals a novel function for circZC3H4 RNA/ZC3H4 and provides a possible mechanism for the inflammatory reaction process observed in some pulmonary diseases associated with fibrosis.
