What is it about?
Stroke is a devastating and debilitating disease and is a leading cause of death worldwide. In this study, we used nCounter Inflammation gene array kit to build immune-related gene profiles of NK cells by comparing different time frames after the onset of brain ischemia, and found a genetic signature of NK cell suppression in the peripheral lymphoid organ. Our results will contribute to the better understanding of NK cell-mediated immune-response in relation to different stages of stroke.
