What is it about?
This study was done to understand how the proportion of Nigerian corp members who had ever had a snakebite and how much they know about snakebite, measures to prevent it, and important first aid measures for it. We found less than 1% with adequate knowledge, with males and those from the southwest geopolitical zone more likely to have adequate knowledge. We recommended snakebite education to this group to enable protect themselves and also help others during their service year
