adult haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis: an update

What is it about?

Thi is a review article of haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis in adult. We showed the main clinical and etiological characteristics of several studies. an update of managemebt of HLH is presented with the description of new treatment such as ruxolitinib, emapalumab and tocilizumab. We also proposed an algorithm fot the management of HLH according to patient characteristics.

the mortality remained high despite progress made in the diagnosis. New treatment are needed and the approval of ruxolitinib and emapalumab may change the pronostic of these patients
