Why is it important?

Our findings showed that pediatric intubation in adult community-based hospitals is rare. additionally, the success rate of intubation on the first attempt is low with minor adverse events. There was also no notable difference between the type of health professional intubating. These results are important as they suggest the development of tools and education for pediatric advanced airway in adult-based community hospitals and overall enhance outcomes in the emergency department.
