What is it about?

We demonstrated that human serum albumin binds toxin Clostridioides difficile toxin A and toxin B, blocking their cellular (enterocytes) damage. We demonstrated that a pre-treatment with human serum albumin in animals exposed to C. difficile toxin B decreased mortality.
