What is it about?

his study examined the relationship between eight dimensions of spirituality (and religion) and people with four different types of disability status: hearing, vision, physical mobility, and emotional or mental disabilities. The aim was to come up with a spiritual profile for each type of disability and compare them with non-disabled people. The question we were trying to answer is how important is spirituality in people with disability compared to the rest of the population?

Counselors and people who work with the disabled can have a better idea about how to understand people with disability and what might be some of the resources that could help them deal with disability more effectively.
