New 5L bag for automated PD

What is it about?

Peritoneal dialysis requires safe and effective therapies that are easy for the patient to use at home. This observational study demonstrated that safety of a new 5 L bag of bicarbonate/lactate buffered PD solution in clinical practice. In addition the number of connections and bag use were reduced.

Why is it important?

An observational post approval study of a new 5 L PD solution bag for APD. The safety and effectiveness of the bag were demonstrated. Patient useability was enhanced as fewer connections and bags were needed
