This work discusses performance improvement in a dielectric grating-integrated HgCdTe-based long-wavelength Auger-suppressed high-operating-temperature (HOT) infrared photon detector to address the issue of soft spectral roll-off, which typically occurs due to the trade-off between carrier collection efficiency and absorption.
