What is it about?

I have worked out theoretically the behavior of Bose-Einstein condensate(BEC) under Gaussian random potential. I have use the method of stochastic mean-field approximation. By changing the correlation length of the random potential, one can get the phase transition earlier or later. The behavior of the different components in condensate is also studied.

Why is it important?

The dependence of the critical value of the disorder strength on the correlation length of the random potential is very clearly shown in my work.
