Low temperature scanning force microscopy using piezoresistive cantilevers

What is it about?

We set up a magnetic force microscope which can operate at low temperatures in a cryostat with 5 T magnetic field. As cantilevers, we employ piezoresistive ones which enable to read out the signals electrically. As an advantage, there is no optical access needed.
