What is it about?
This article attempts to define and examine the essential features of C.G. Jung's notion of an archetype. In other words, it seeks to explain, What is an archetype?

Why is it important?
What is unique about the article is that for the first time it explains the process of how an immaterial entity (attributed to the notion of an archetype) manifests in the psyche and society.
Perspectives
In my opinion this is the first article that deepens our understanding of the existence of archetypes and how they appear in the mind and social collectives. It is an important contribution to a revisionist view of Jung's theory.
