Why is it important?

It is important that writers, as agents of change, understand they can influence society and its forming adults through meaningful integration of adult themes as productive elements of young adult fiction.

Perspectives

As a writer I continue to push boundaries, to address issues that may be crucial, of notice, to younger readers, and in fact to all readers. Good literature – irrespective of subject, style or theme – will offer a forum to create open-mindedness and open conversation.
