What is it about?

The present study pursues the relatively new lines of research into girls and online social networks, focusing on the experiences of Israeli teenage girls, and examines how Israeli girls construct their social relationships on the Facebook social network. Adopting the feminist and interpretive approach, the qualitative study was based on focus group interviews with Israeli girls (aged 12-18) from diverse cultural, economic, and social backgrounds.
