Why is it important?
At a time when many academic libraries are exploring library roles focusing solely on relationship management, this article identifies some of the challenges of introducing such roles.
Perspectives
This article was written in 2015, however our team restructured in 2016 to have more a focus on research support. We still retain some relationship management aspects in our role: happy to talk about the rest of the journey with anyone who's interested!
