An algorithm can be used to find the terrorists' opportunities and anticipate their attack method choices.

A simple rendition of the terrorists' choice problem, amenable to analysis by optimisation methods and algorithmic computation. Can be made dynamic by simply recomputing the choice set at regular intervals.
