What is it about?

The savagery of suicide terrorism has led to significant studies and debates among those trying to understand this phenomenon, especially how it relates to the religious beliefs of its perpetrators. While many good analyses have come out, few have been able to demonstrate how religion matters. In thus study, I use cutting-edge quantitative tools to show that suicide attacks by religious terrorist groups are more violent than those by nationalist or leftist groups, indicating the effects of religion.
