What is it about?

This work emphasizes on novel approach based on machine learning and protein sequence features as a methodology or tool for classifying bacterial species. Moreover, a strategy was described in this work to compare and select the essential features which are having maximum impact on the dataset.

Why is it important?

Classification of organism remains one of the classical problem in life sciences. Similarly which molecular property should be considered is another vital question. This prototype study appends some novelty in this direction of modern research.

Perspectives

We are working on this aspect since long and kept on experimenting with different datasets, proteins, features. This work provided some valuable insight towards enriching the present understanding.
