What is it about?

Reproductive performance in same captivity condition of different Crayfish populations are not the same. These differences were not attributable to maternal size, but the characteristics of the brooks of origin might have influenced the reproductive performances of crayfish in the hatchery.

Getting a large number of crayfish in aquaculture is still a difficult goal to achieve. This study shows how the breeders choice could affect significantly on the farming total yield.
