What is it about?

To find out whether the 21-century Chinese students are the successors to Confucianism or a total new generation in terms of their learning culture (their attitude towards teacher, learning and learning motivation).

Why is it important?

The article attempted to clarify the concept of 'Confucianism' which was often related to Chinese learners while has been widely and different interpreted in different socio-cultural settings. The attempt also attempts to show the complexity of learning culture within a group of Chinese learners through a questionnaire study.

Perspectives

This is an article I wrote during my PhD study which is not the focus of my thesis, but a very nice by-product.
