Why is it important?

To date there has been limited evidence on the learner experience of Recognition of Prior Learning.

Perspectives

Little is known or published on the learner experience of recogntion of prior learning (RPL). This article provides an indepth overview of the how transformative the RPL experience can be for some learners. There is a particular focus on how the RPL process can impact on the learner's identity and highlights a number of factors which impacts their identity.
