What is it about?
In photography, the impression of stereoscopic depth or of natural colour can be considered illusions. Each is created via the deconstruction and reconstruction of perception using multiple images. Comparison of the two types of photography on a technical level reveals historical interactions between 3D and colour research. It also provides useful tools for critical analysis of the 'realism' of the photographic image in all its forms.
