What is it about?

Biological aerosols, think the US anthrax mail letters, or seasonal influenza are a constant threat to human health. We have developed the first open source code applicable to several different age groups of the society. So if you want to know how much relative dose of influenza you or your children could get, refer to this manuscript.

Why is it important?

While our code is primarily meant for the growing bioaerosol community interested in assessing risks from highly lethal pathogens (example: Anthrax causing bacteria), given the open source nature of our code, it can also be used by others (such as scientists investigating the effect of engineering nanoparticles on human health). Researchers can also easily download and modify the code to fit their needs.
