Three futures: Nightmare, diversion, vision

What is it about?

We examine three possible futures. The first, 'Nightmare' is the business-as-usual scenario, which we believe will eventually lead to ecological ruin and political and social instability. The second, 'Diversion', recognizes the problems posed by the first scenario, but we argue that its solution, Green Growth, is not possible. The third option, 'Vision', is built around ecological sustainability. Its achievement will require deep socio-economic change, and so will not be easy--but is our only option.
