What is it about?
This study is about the generalization of Rayleigh distribution. By adding a parameter in Rayleigh distribution . the goodness of fit criteria and tail properties of a distribution can be increase. The new distribution is useful in reliability analysis and biological science. The efficiency of this distribution is studied by simulation study and real life data.

Why is it important?
In this study we combine two different Rayleigh distributions for its generalization. It is hoped that the proposed distribution attract large number of applications in statistics.
Perspectives
A comprehensive study of the statistical properties of the new distribution has been presented. The reliability behavior of this distribution is investigated by varying the values of the parameters. Order statistics, distribution of the order statistics and L- moments are also derived.
