Why is it important?
Many countries struggle with crime after conflict. How and to what extent is is linked to dynamics developed during armed conflict?
Perspectives
There seems to be a division of labor between people studying armed conflict, those stuyding crime, and those studying peacebuilding efforts. In this book, we try to bridge this gap and look at how country´s experience with conflict affects the kind of crime and violence they experience after war. I hope this special issue is interesting for people concerned with understanding the prospects and obstacles to building sustainable peace.
