What is it about?

The Western media have over the years used a number of stereotypes to represent events and the people in Africa. In the 21st century non-Western media such as China Daily have set up offices in Africa and this article compares how these new entrant and traditional Western media such as BBC represented the Ebola disease outbreak in Africa. Constructive journalism is used as a framework o compare the media representations.
