What is it about?
Land surface temperature builds a relationship with NDVI and NDBI in any urban area. It is related to the changed land cover/land use patterns. This particular character was reflected in our study.

Why is it important?
We have found a strong positive relationship between LST-NDBI and negative relationship between LST-NDVI for both the cities. The built-up area presents the best correlation with LST.
Perspectives
The study tried to present the impact of built-up area on environmental degradation. Remote sensing techniques played an important role in providing authentic results.
