The editorial takes up the question of what should count as the core texts in the emerging field of political theology.

Why is it important?
In part because as political theology emerges and matures, the question becomes how to best introduce students to the field. This is a challenging question because the field is emerging but also it is multidisciplinary and contested.
Perspectives
My hope is that the editorial generates conversation and experiments.
