As the development of high-efficiency vessels approaches a tipping point, the Australian shipbuilding industry's strengths in aluminium manufacturing and Australia's natural advantages in geography and solar energy could place it well for developing and manufacturing the vessels that will be in demand globally in order to reduce vessel emissions.
