What is it about?

Racism is often understood simply as the acts of individuals against other individuals. Racism is often seen as stressor, and the impacts measured according to the stress caused individuals and the extent to which they cope with the stress. Critical theoretical perspectives help to understand racism as a broad social phenomenon embedded in the structures of society.
