What is it about?
Truck collision with twin anti-ram bollards is simulated by using a simple method. Predictions with the method are compared with the test results.

Why is it important?
The model simulates both truck deformation and bollard's deformation in a good manner. Impact load history estimations are very good especially in the peak load region.
Perspectives
This study motivated me to focus on safety issues of different collision problems.
