Immigration and social integration
What is it about?
The paper looks at a case study of trying to integrate immigrants in a community which has relatively few international migrants. While the community is known for being friendly, immigrants find it hard to become socially integrated into pre-existing networks.
Why is it important?
The paper helps to identify the challenges local policy makers need to overcome to attract and retain immigrants.
